The Hotel Luxer is a modern five floor hotel, situated in the heart of Amsterdam, 200 metres from the Stock Exchange and 500 metres from Nieuwmarkt, which borders on the red light district. All 47 air conditioned guestrooms have neutral décor with burgundy carpets and modern furniture; rooms feature direct dial phones, cable television and Internet connections. In addition rooms have ironing boards and en suite bathrooms with hair dryers. Guests start the day with a buffet breakfast in the breakfast lounge (surcharge), and the bar provides a place to meet other guests and enjoy a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The hotel is approximately 20 kilometres (12.5 miles), or a twenty minute drive from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. There is a railway station in the terminal's central hall, under Schiphol Plaza; direct trains run to Amsterdam Centraal Station approximately every 15 minutes. Schiphol Travel Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall. Public buses also run regularly into Amsterdam.

From Amsterdam Schiphol Airport take the A4/E19 towards Amsterdam and then the A10. Leave at exit s105 towards Centrum, turn right onto Hoofdweg and left onto Jan Evertsenstraat. Turn right onto Admiraal de Ruijterweg and continue along De Clercqstraat and Rozengracht before turning left onto Westermarkt. Turn right onto Raadhuisstraat and left onto Spuistraat. Turn left onto Paleisstraat, continue along Dam and then Warmoestraat on which the hotel is located.
